Sandy Blin joined Andera Partners in 2026 as a Senior Investment Manager within the Andera Life Sciences team, which focuses on life sciences and medical technologies.
She has 9 years of experience in academic research, gained notably in France, the United States, Japan and Germany. She began by completing a PhD at the CNRS in France, focusing on sensory neurons. She then completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Max Delbrück Center in Berlin, where she worked on animal physiology.
Before joining Andera Partners, Sandy worked at Gimv in Munich, a European investment fund, where she gained 4 years of experience in venture capital within the life sciences sector, notably working with biotechnology and medical device companies.
She also holds an engineering degree specializing in pharmacology.
Sandy speaks French, English and German, and understands Spanish.
