The independent investment company dedicated to growth SMEs and mid-caps in France and abroad has announced the creation of Andera Partners Transformation, an initiative involving all its various teams and aimed at providing its portfolio companies with the necessary expertise, networks and tools to boost their growth and succeed in their transformation on five fronts: strategic advice, digital transformation, CSR, acquisitions and international expansion.
In 20 years, Andera Partners’ five teams have helped more than 260 companies in France and abroad to grow and beat the market. The purpose of Andera Partners Transformation is to offer bespoke support through the Andera Partners teams, based on portfolio companies’ respective business sectors, via five strategic development programmes:
- Exclusive partnership with CEO2CEO, a strategic consulting network made up of senior advisors,
- Digital Advisory Board for companies’ digital transformation,
- CSR roadmap for responsible growth,
- 360 Croissance Externe (“360 external growth”),
- International expansion action plan.

CEO2CEO, a network of former top executives, is a unique advisory structure in its field. Andera Partners has signed an exclusive partnership with CEO2CEO to provide its portfolio company managers with advice and experience from former managers of CAC 40 listed companies or large mid-caps, to make a high-impact contribution to the development of their strategic plans and the pursuit of their objectives.
Support companies’ digital transformation
Andera Partners has set up its own exclusive “Digital Advisory Board” to assist company managers in their digital transformation through access to a network of experts from leading organisations in this field. The Digital Advisory Board’s aim is to help managers identify digital transformation opportunities and challenges in their sectors of activity and draw up practical roadmaps. It will meet every two months to analyse the digital challenges of our investee companies and make detailed recommendations to company managers. It brings together several high-profile figures, including Olivier Mathieu, former Director of Strategic Partnerships at Google France, who over the course of his career has assisted major French media and internet pure players with monetisation and digital transformation challenges; Sylvain Bellier, Executive Vice-President of EPSILON France (Publicis group), an expert in data management and data-based marketing; and Nicolas Bailleurs, former Group Innovation Director of Europcar, who has developed e-commerce expertise over the course of a career working with companies of all sizes.
Implement ESG roadmaps for responsible growth
In conjunction with Andera Partners’ CSR department, the investment teams propose a CSR diagnosis followed by implementation of a detailed roadmap with measurable targets. To date, around 20 portfolio companies have benefited from this responsibility support programme.
360 Croissance Externe
Andera’s teams use their privileged M&A access to identify and arrange acquisitions that consolidate portfolio companies’ position in their market and increase their strategic value. Andera Partners has assisted with nearly 300 acquisitions over the last 20 years, including around 100 abroad.
International expansion action plan
To help its portfolio companies break new ground and cross borders, Andera Partners provides them with international expansion diagnostics and identifies investment opportunities abroad, relying on both a network of advisors in key countries and its own growing international presence (offices in Munich and Antwerp).
