Andera Partners, a responsible and committed private equity firm, has released its first Climate & Sustainability Report.

The report reveals the acceleration of Andera Partners’ responsible commitment from signing the UN Principles for Responsible Investment in 2012 to strengthening its CSR governance with the creation of a Climate & Sustainability Committee in 2019, a Gender Diversity Committee in 2020 and the recruitment of a Chief Sustainability Officer, Noëlla de Bermingham, this year. The fight against climate change is a strong focus of Andera Partners’ commitment with the signing of the Initiative Climat International, the Carbon Neutral Label in 2019 and the launch in 2021 of its first impact investment activity related to the energy transition: Andera Infra.

Andera Partners is determined to act for a more sustainable and responsible growth in several ways:

  • as a committed company with an exemplary approach around 4 major objectives in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals;
  • as a responsible investor, to support the companies in which we are shareholders in their efforts to move towards a more sustainable model and to support initiatives that generate a positive impact.

Andera Partners is also committed to its ecosystem. Therefore the management company is one of the pioneers in joining the IMPACT platform, launched by the French Secretary of State for the Social and Responsible Economy, on the extra-financial performance of companies, and is one of the few private equity players.

This commitment to our ecosystem is also in line with Andera Partners’ commitment to the non-profit sector. Through the Andera Foundation – created in April 2021 and sheltered by the Fondation de France – the management company mobilizes its support for associations with financial sponsorship and skills around four themes: environmental protection, education, health and the fight against discrimination.

Noëlla de Bermingham, Chief Sustainability Officer of Andera Partners, comments: « The transparency of our commitments and our CSR performance is a strong ambition, and this report is a first step and we are very proud of it. It illustrates our desire to activate our levers on this major issue in order to multiply our impact at all levels ».

Sylvain Charignon and Raphaël Wisniewski, Managing Partners of Andera Partners, comment: “We are convinced that our role as investors is key to encouraging the emergence of new business models that respond to social and environmental challenges. The link between CSR performance, attractiveness, value creation and competitiveness of companies is no longer in question ».
